Dubrovnik-Neretva is the southernmost Croatian region, a thin coastal strip along the Adriatic that wraps around the Bosnian coastal town of Neum (the only Bosnian sea access). The fortified Old Town of Dubrovnik sits on a rock peninsula behind 2-kilometre medieval walls — a UNESCO Heritage Site, the entire walled town a single museum quarter. The main charter base is ACI Marina Dubrovnik at Komolac (350 berths) in the Rijeka Dubrovačka inlet north of the Old Town. Charter routes reach the Elaphiti Islands (Lopud, Šipan, Koločep) in 60 minutes, Mljet National Park in 3 hours northwest, and Korčula in 5 hours. The walled town of Ston (with the longest defensive wall in Europe outside China) sits 1 hour up the Pelješac peninsula. Season runs April through October.
