The village sits half on the harbour and half on the high plateau above, connected by 130 steps. There are no cars, no roads, and only 150 permanent residents. The local red wine (Plavac and Trojiscina blend) is sold in the village as Susak's only export. Susak is 60 minutes from Mali Lošinj. Season runs May through October.
