Delos
Delos is the only Greek island where you cannot stay overnight — the entire 3-square-kilometre territory is a UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site, and Greek law prohibits residence. The ancient Greeks considered it the sacred birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, and from the 8th century BC onward it grew into a religious centre and major trade port. Today the ruins are extensive: a marble-paved sacred way, the Terrace of the Lions (originals in the museum), Roman villas with intact floor mosaics, a small theatre, and house foundations covering most of the island. Boats anchor on the protected south side or at the larger neighbour Rhenia for swimming. Delos is 30 minutes from Mykonos. Season runs April through October.
Rineia Island
Just a short sail from Mykonos lies Rineia Island, a hidden gem known for its turquoise waters and unspoiled coves. With no crowds or beach clubs, the island offers a rare sense of peace—perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing under the Aegean sun. Its sandy shores and crystal-clear sea make it an idyllic escape, where the only sounds are the waves and the wind. For travelers seeking a quieter side of the Cyclades, Rineia delivers pure serenity and natural beauty.
Mykonos
Mykonos stands as a premier sailing destination in the Aegean, where turquoise waters, golden beaches, and a cosmopolitan spirit meet under the Cycladic sun. Its southern coast offers an exceptional setting for daily boat tours, with calm, protected waters that make sailing smooth and unforgettable views at every turn. From the deck, the island reveals its contrasts—serene coves for swimming, lively shores alive with energy, and the vast blue horizon stretching endlessly beyond. With reliable winds, excellent facilities, and access to nearby islets, Mykonos is an ideal base for both relaxation and exploration. For those seeking the true essence of the Cyclades, sailing here is more than a journey—it is an experience of light, sea, and timeless beauty.
