Bodrum
Bodrum is the start of the Turkish coast you sail to reach, not drive to. From the water, the peninsula opens into the Gulf of Gökova — dozens of pine-fringed coves, fishing-village restaurants where the day's catch lands at the table, and bays calm enough that the anchor doesn't move all night. The Bodrum Castle guards the marina and the ruins of the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus — one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World — sit a short walk from the docks. South of the bay, Cleopatra Beach, Yedi Adalar, and Karaada all fit into a 7-day route without rush. The season runs May through October; July and August fill up, June and September are the sweet spot.
In Bodrum, a radiant gem awaits you: the Zeki Müren Art Museum. This extraordinary museum opens the doors to the house where the legendary Turkish art music artist Zeki Müren spent his final years. Here, unique artifacts like the artist's stage costumes, awards, artworks, and jewelry are on display. The Zeki Müren Art Museum is adorned with photographs that bring the magic of the past to life, offering you a profound glimpse into that era. You can visit this exceptional space to delve into the details of the artist's music and life. This museum, filled with the enchantment of a glittering past and art, invites you to step into the world of Zeki Müren. Kumbahçe, Zeki Müren Cd. No:11, 48400 Bodrum/Muğla, Türkiye

📍 Location
Orak Island
Orak Island is a small uninhabited islet off the southern coast of the Bodrum peninsula — known across the Aegean for some of the clearest water in the region. The seabed alternates between sandy patches and rock outcrops, with consistent 15-metre visibility and a resident population of grouper, octopus, and sea bream. There's no village, no road, no structure on the island; just one rocky shore with a few scattered Mediterranean pines. Most charter routes use it as a daytime swim and lunch stop between Bodrum and the Gulf of Gökova, then move on by evening. The bay is sheltered from the meltem by the island's own profile. Season runs May through October.
-
The bay on the north: This bay is a safe spot when winds are coming from the south. Anchor in 5-10 meters and secure the boat with a line to the south. When approaching, there are no obstacles in the way. Be cautious about the reefs on the western side.
-
The bay on the east: Located in the southeast part of the island, this bay requires extra care when approaching. There's a small island 300 meters away formed by rocks. Underwater rocks extend about 40 meters in diameter, so keep a good distance.
-
The bight on the NW: This area provides good protection from westerly winds. The seabed is a mix of sand and rocks. Drop anchor in 4-5 meters. Alternatively, head to the southern shores and anchor in depths ranging from 7 to 12 meters.
Knidos
Knidos sits at the western tip of the Datça peninsula, the headland that divides the Gulf of Gökova from the Mediterranean — strategic enough that the ancient Greek city was founded here in the 4th century BC, becoming famous for the marble Aphrodite of Knidos sculpted by Praxiteles. The ruins occupy a 2-kilometre archaeological site that wraps around two natural harbours (a north \"warm-water\" port and a south \"cold-water\" port), with the 8,000-seat theatre, agora, and Aphrodite temple still visible. The double harbour itself is a sheltered anchorage with sand seabed in 5-15 metres, used by yachts as the day-stop highlight of the Bodrum-Marmaris route. The harbour is uninhabited apart from a single seasonal restaurant. Knidos is 5 hours from Bodrum and 4 hours from Marmaris by sail. Season runs May through October.
Exploring Ancient Knidos is about walking around an old Greek city named Knidos, which is now in Turkey. People who visit can see what's left of a city that was once very important. They will find pieces of old buildings like temples, a big theater, and other special places. There's also art from long ago, like statues.
People can also see the place where boats used to come, called the harbor. Knidos was known for being right where two big seas meet. Another cool thing to see is an old sundial, which shows how smart the people were in understanding stars and time.
This visit is really good for anyone who likes history and wants to know more about how people lived a very long time ago. It's a chance to see and learn about an important place from the past.

Datça
Datça sits at the end of one of Turkey's longest, thinnest peninsulas — and the journey out by road is so slow that most travellers arrive by water instead. At the peninsula tip, Knidos stands as a 4th-century-BC harbour town where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean: two ancient ports still receive boats, and you can swim off the foundations of a temple that once held the most famous nude statue in the ancient world. The town itself is small and organic — known across Turkey for its almond groves, thyme honey, and a slower rhythm. The coves between Datça and Knidos stay empty even in August because the road doesn't reach them. Season runs May through October; the meltem is steady but the peninsula breaks it, so afternoons stay sailable.

Selimiye
Selimiye is the fish-restaurant village in Hisarönü Gulf — a single string of meyhanes along the quay, each with a few tables set right at the water's edge. The boats anchor a few metres off, and you swim or row in for dinner; the day's catch comes from the same bay, often unloaded onto the table while you're still sitting at it. Beyond food, the village holds a small fortress on the hillside and a quiet beach reachable by dinghy. The water in front stays calm because the headland blocks the meltem, making this one of the safest overnight anchorages on the gulf. Bozburun is 30 minutes south by sail, Orhaniye 45 minutes north. Season runs May through October; June and September are the locals' favourite months.

Selimiye Bay can be accessed by navigating between two distinct points, namely Sığ Burun and Karaburun, approximately 1 nautical mile to the southwest.
-
When approaching from the southwest, caution is advised due to the presence of potentially hazardous reefs.
-
Selimiye is a great place to re-stock with provisions, fresh fruit & vegetables.
-
We would recommend anchoring in the bay and taking the dinghy ashore. The town jetty is very often full of local boats.
-
These shallow waters, measuring 1.5 meters deep and extending 30-40 meters with a distance of just 250 meters offshore, are marked by a navigational buoy. Furthermore, mariners should remain vigilant of rocks that protrude about 350 meters from Karaburun Point towards Selimiye village.
Bozburun
Bozburun is the working heart of the Turkish blue-voyage tradition — a single street of fish restaurants and tackle shops, the quay lined with wooden gulets in various stages of construction. The yards here have been building traditional Aegean schooners by hand for centuries, with the same methods passed down through families. Boats anchor in the bay just outside town and you walk in for dinner; the gulet workshops welcome curious visitors. South of Bozburun, the open Aegean coast opens to Bozukkale, an ancient harbour with a small ruined fortress, and the empty western tip of the peninsula. Most charter itineraries through Hisarönü stop here for an evening. Season runs May through October; the meltem is steady but the harbour shelters from it.
A tranquil escape nestled between land and sea, Adaboğazı is one of Bozburun’s most enchanting swimming spots. Its name, meaning "island strait," refers to the narrow channel separating the mainland from a small island, creating a sheltered, crystal-clear lagoon. Surrounded by untouched nature and calm waters, this idyllic spot is perfect for anchoring, swimming, or simply enjoying the serenity of the Aegean.

Ekincik Bay
Ekincik Bay is the natural anchorage that yachts use to reach the Dalyan delta — a deep, well-protected bay 90 minutes by sail from Marmaris and 20 minutes from the river mouth itself. From the anchorage, smaller local river boats head up the Dalyan channels through reed beds, past the Lycian rock tombs carved into cliff faces above the water, and out to Iztuzu Beach — a 4-kilometre nesting site for loggerhead sea turtles. The bay itself is empty apart from a small restaurant on the western shore and a single beach club. Season runs May through October; turtle-nesting season is May-August, with hatchings in September.

If you require a vault, we recommend heading to My Marina.

Gocek
Göcek is where the Aegean settles down — a sheltered gulf with twelve islands sitting in flat water, walled off from open sea by pine-covered ridges. The setup is built for first-time charterers: bays are so calm the anchor doesn't drag, distances between stops are 20-30 minutes, and you can swim off the back of the boat at every anchorage. The water is the kind of clear that shows the chain on the seabed five metres down. Onshore the marina has a few quiet restaurants, but the real life is on the water — pull into Tersane, Yassıca Adaları, or Bedri Rahmi Bay, swim, eat, repeat. Ancient Lycian ruins line the inland hills — a half-day inland reaches the rock tombs above Fethiye. The season runs May through October; July and August are warmest, May and September are quietest.
D-Marin Göcek, with its spacious maneuvering area and deep waters, stands out as an ideal marina even for the deepest yachts. Beyond these features, it also distinguishes itself with easy access to golden sandy beaches and the hundreds of stunning islands scattered across the Aegean.
Easily access the technical, safety, and general services your boat needs. The marina, with a capacity for 380 moorings, provides boats with water, electricity, telephone, wireless internet connection, and cable TV services.
In this marina, which offers 24-hour security service, you can enjoy luxurious and hygienic shower and toilet facilities, laundry services, a restaurant, cafe-bar, supermarket, charter services, yacht sales, and travel agencies.
