Barcelona sits on the Catalan coast 100 kilometres south of the French border, with the harbour wrapping around two basins below the medieval Old Town. Port Vell (\"Old Port\") was redeveloped for the 1992 Olympics and now holds the visiting yacht marina, the Maremagnum mall, and the aquarium — all directly below the foot of La Rambla. The neighbouring Marina Port Vell handles superyachts up to 190 metres. The seafront Barceloneta grid of fishermen's tenements still holds the best seafood restaurants in the city. Inland, Gaudí's Sagrada Família, Park Güell, and the Gothic Quarter are all within 20 minutes of the harbour. Barcelona is 4 hours from Sitges south or Costa Brava north. Season runs April through October.
