Kissebuku Cove, Bodrum
Kissebükü sits on the southern side of the Bodrum peninsula, a deep wooded cove where the ruins of an ancient settlement called Alazeytin still stand half-hidden in the pines above the bay. The site holds a 6th-century Byzantine bath complex with surviving arches, a chapel, and stone foundations of houses. From the anchorage a 20-minute footpath climbs through the trees to the ruins. The bay water is deep and clear, ringed by pine forest on three sides, with no village or road access. Kissebükü is 75 minutes from Bodrum by sail. Season runs May through October.
