The Côte d'Azur (\"blue coast\") is the French Mediterranean coastline that runs from Toulon in the west to the Italian border at Menton in the east — about 200 kilometres of coast that holds the highest concentration of megayacht infrastructure in Europe. The standard charter circuit links Saint-Tropez (the celebrity Riviera resort), Cannes (Croisette boulevard and film festival), Antibes (Port Vauban, Europe's largest yacht marina), Nice (Belle Époque seafront), Villefranche-sur-Mer (deep natural harbour), Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (private-villa peninsula), and Monaco (Port Hercules). The protected Îles d'Or off Hyères and the Estérel red cliffs west of Cannes add quieter alternatives. The region is in charter use year-round, with the season peaking in May (Cannes Film Festival, Monaco Grand Prix) and September (Monaco Yacht Show). Season runs April through October.
