Aydın is a province on the central Aegean coast of Turkey, between Izmir and Muğla. The coastal stretch holds three working towns with sailing infrastructure — Kuşadası (cruise port and the Setur Kuşadası Marina, 600 berths), Didim (D-Marin Didim Marina, 580 berths), and the smaller Güzelçamlı. The hinterland holds three of the most-visited ancient Greek sites in Turkey — Ephesus (40 kilometres inland from Kuşadası, Roman-era city), Didyma (Temple of Apollo, on the coast at Didim), and Priene (Hellenistic ruins on the slopes of Mount Mycale). The Dilek National Park peninsula north of Kuşadası is one of the largest protected coastal forests in the eastern Aegean. Aydın is 90 minutes from Bodrum by sail. Season runs May through October.
