Karagözler sits on the seafront of Fethiye, the western suburb that holds the main yacht charter base for routes along the Lycian coast — the marina at Ece Marina (470 berths) plus the older Fethiye Yat Limanı (1,150 berths combined). The suburb runs 4 kilometres along the bay west of the Old Town, with a row of seafront fish restaurants, charter agencies, and chandleries. The harbour opens onto the Fethiye Gulf and the inner Twelve Islands archipelago — a chain of small forested islets with sheltered turquoise anchorages reachable in 30 minutes south by sail. Karagözler is the natural departure point for Fethiye-area routes. Karagözler is 90 minutes from Göcek and 4 hours from Marmaris. Season runs April through October.
