Konyaaltı is the western beach district of Antalya, on the Mediterranean coast at the western end of the Gulf of Antalya. The district is named for the 7-kilometre Konyaaltı Beach — a long pebble-and-sand crescent that runs from the foot of the Beydağları cliffs to the Antalya Old Town. The Setur Antalya Marina at the west end of the beach (300 berths plus megayacht infrastructure) serves as the alternative Antalya yacht charter base to the older Kaleiçi marina, with newer megayacht facilities. The cliff-edge area west of Konyaaltı, around the inland Olbia ancient site, holds small protected coves reachable by day-sail. Konyaaltı is 20 minutes from Antalya Old Town and 90 minutes from Kemer by sail. Season runs April through October.
