What does the contract look like?
A 12-month commitment, billed monthly. After the first year it carries on, and 3 months notice ends it.
Do you take commission on my bookings?
No commission on the bookings you win yourself. Deals you take from the Boatsy pool carry 2% on the first booking, and nothing on repeats.
How are pool deals shared?
A deal is served to a maximum of two companies, and once taken it is not offered again. Never more than two companies touch a lead. When you take one, Boatsy leaves that contact alone for 3 months. After that it moves into our nurturing funnel, to come back as a fresh lead for the coming year.
What is included in the setup?
Our team builds your site and configuration, with up to 20 hours of customization included, and trains you and your sales team. Beyond that, development, assistance or training is €80 per hour, agreed before it starts.
Can I cancel?
In the first 15 days from go-live, yes: cancel and your payment is refunded in full. AI credits and deals bought from the catalogue are the only things not refunded.
Can I try it without moving my live website?
Yes. Everything is built and reviewed on a staging address with your real fleet in it. Your domain only moves when you say so.
Are you going to compete with me?
Boatsy is a marketplace and you may already be a supplier on it, so it is a fair question. We ingest only what is needed to make your boats sellable: specification, availability, pricing. Your customers and your own bookings are yours. And a contact you buy from the pool is off-limits to Boatsy for 90 days.
Who owns the customer data collected on my site?
You do. Deals from the pool are shared between Boatsy, you, and at most one other buyer, and the consent language shown to the customer says so.
What if I want to leave later?
Your domain, your content and your customers leave with you. No exit fee, 3 months notice, done.
