Home · The demand pool

Growth

The demand exists. The question is how much of it you take.

Boatsy is where a great many people begin looking for a charter. Here is how that reaches you, what it costs, and the two other places your season grows.

One · the pool

Buying a customer, not a click

Everyone who asks Boatsy about a charter appears in your panel, whatever the destination. You read them, take the ones you want, and pay for those alone.

  • No budget to set, no campaign to guess at. Top up a wallet when you want more customers, stop whenever you like.
  • You know who they are first. Dates, party size, departure port, charter type, and whether they have already written back.
  • Nothing is automatic. Deals are never assigned to you, and your wallet is never charged until you take a deal yourself.
  • 2% if it books, once. On the first booking only. Every time that guest comes back, you keep all of it.

What a customer costs

Prices are dynamic, starting from €38 per inquiry: every deal shows its price in your console before you take it. An enquiry that has already replied costs more, because it converts more. You are only charged for the deals you take.

A deal goes to at most two companies. Inside an exclusive territory, only one.

Your edge · graded demand

Everyone else sells you mystery. We sell you a graded pool.

Nobody in this industry can tell a good enquiry from a bad one in advance. With ads and agencies you pay full price to find out. Here, every deal is graded by the one thing that can be known early: who has already written back. Engaged customers are priced as engaged. The quieter ones cost a fraction and become pure upside for a team with capacity to work them. You always know which kind you are buying before you spend a cent.

Two · the demand you already have

Before buying a customer, stop losing the ones you have

The cheapest growth in the business, because you already paid for it once.

68%

arrive out of hours

Families plan holidays in the evening and at weekends, when nobody is at a desk.

24h

is all a deal lives

A charter enquiry left unanswered for a day is usually gone for good.

9

languages in a week

German, Russian, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Slovenian, English. You staff one or two.

Work out your own figure on the calculator: it is capped at the spare capacity your fleet actually has, so it will not flatter you.

Three · closing on the spot

Ten days of emails, or four minutes

Every step between "I like this" and "it is booked" loses people. Charter has more of those steps than any holiday of comparable value.

The usual journey

DAY 0

DAY 2

A reply with a range

Availability still to be checked.

DAY 5

A quote by email

Three questions about extras.

DAY 10

The excitement has cooled and the week is still not held.

Site, WhatsApp or email, in any language.

MINUTE 2

Route, boat, total price

MINUTE 4

Yacht held 48 hours

The week is theirs while they decide.

SAME DAY

Deposit paid, contract signed

Online, in their own time zone.

This shows up in price, not only in volume. A company that can hold a yacht within minutes rarely needs to discount to close: the guest has already pictured the holiday.

One company per port

Or take the whole territory

An option, not a tier. For a company with the fleet and the people to work a port's entire demand, every enquiry in the territory opens to you and to nobody else.

What it includes

  • Your first 50 deals free, opened in sequence
  • 30% off every deal after that
  • The right to trade under the Boatsy name
  • An annual exit on 90 days' notice, either side

What we say before you sign

A territory is not a better return per euro than buying deals one at a time: the fee buys the whole port, not a discount. We will not quote one without showing you its volume history, and the volume we commit to goes into the agreement with a remedy if we fall short of it.

Around 30% of charter guests come back, and those who do average four bookings.

Which is why commission applies to a first booking only. Judge a customer on their first week and you have valued them at roughly half of what they are worth, and a guest who did not book this season is still a name in your database for the next one.
